The journey of a widowed Southern lady stranded in the Mid-west surviving the perils and pearls of grief, adult children, grandchildren, writing, retirement, and assorted crises.
I wish I knew how to crochet like that . I can do the chain stitch , sort of! I went to a flea market Saturday and a lady had all kinds of original designs, really cute hats, baby things, lots of things. Hope things work out for you and your son and grand daughter before too long. Been there with kids and grand kids living here as well and my home is not big. It's hard but we do what we need to .God bless your family
It looks nice but the point it is separated is just to many rows into the pattern. If I make another, I'll adjust it. I think that will fix it. And I may add a few rows to it.
I love you mom!!! And your not fat

Pretty pattern but it's so strange that it's so short in the front. ?

ReplyDeleteLovely shawl but I agree it would be better if the split started earlier. I'm sure you'll manage to adapt the pattern ok.
